Ujjain: In a delightful blend of sportsmanship and spirituality, Team India players Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sunder, Tilak Varma, and Jitesh Sharma embarked on a soulful visit to the revered Mahakal temple in Ujjain on Monday morning. Following their second T-20 match against Afghanistan in Kanpur, the cricketers paid their respects to the almighty, seeking divine blessings.

The players, visibly humbled by the experience, bowed before Baba Mahakal and were privileged to witness the Bhasma Aarti, a sacred ritual dedicated to the Lord.

Wicket-keeper and batsman Jitesh Sharma, a devout devotee of Baba Mahakal, expressed his profound connection with the shrine, sharing that he makes it a point to visit whenever the opportunity arises.

Ravi Bishnoi, too, shared his awe at experiencing the Bhasmarti at the Mahakal temple, emphasizing that it was his inaugural encounter with the divine Aarti of the Lord.
